Midget

Jerry was a nice little fellow; he is 4 feet tall exactly. Jerry is known as the little person, but funny thing, he likes to be called a midget. He thinks it's one of the coolest names ever. Not many people are midgets and he is very proud to be one. Though Jerry does get sick of people tapping him on the head saying how little he is, Jerry knows he is little; you don't need to tell him. Well anyway, Jerry is looking for his first job; he is fresh out of college and wants to be a taxidermist. The first day he gets out of bed all excited and ready for the day he finds a job, and then he runs into a problem. Jerry's mom is very close to him and loves him too much, as jerry would say. She is already up and jerry can here her in the kitchen making an omelet for his first big day of searching. Jerry knows her all too well though, she will fill him up so full that he won’t be able to go out and search for a job. Funny how things work though, Jerry is completely ready for this and has been planning a way to get away from her without her seeing him for almost a year now. Just because he is so short and small doesn't mean he is a baby. The first part of Jerry's plan is to slowly open his bedroom door and sneak out of it to the bathroom. Then clime out of the window onto the roof of his parent’s room. The only big issue he faces is his mom seeing him through the kitchen window as he passes it to get down. So Jerry executes the first half of his master plan, and his mom doesn't see him as he slowly creeps past the kitchen window. He was lucky she was facing the fridge when he went by. Then out of no were the neighbor dog ran to the edge of its leash and barked at Jerry. Jerry's mom came flying out of the house ran over and threw a big steak bone to the dog. It was silent and attacked the bone, while Jerry's mom went back inside finished preparing the breakfast. "No wonder that dog is so over weight." mumbled Jerry. He saw the ground below his feet on the roof and panicked. He had to jump from that far up? His entire plan was working except for this little issue. So Jerry did the unthinkable, he called for his mom! She came running out and cuddled him and told him he was not going out job hunting yet. Jerry was very upset by the fact that he gave in that he ran up into his room and that there for 3 days. His mother is still to this day trying to keep him from getting a job.

Weekend of Prom

The day of prom was crazy. My Dad's two sisters came over to see me in a dress (I have not worn a dress since I was 5). Since this was a big deal they had to see me in it and take pictures, but that day they decided they wanted to watch me get all ready for prom too. So we had a full house. After I got ready and my family took pictures of me and my date, we left. My Friends and I were all going to Famous Dave's to eat, we had everything all ready set up. We were going to walk in and tell them we had a reservation. They let us know that they had no reservations under the name my friend had told us to ask for. Therefore we all had to wait; all twelve of us had to wait for our friend to show up. She was twenty minutes late and we still had no tables. So we had to wait another ten minutes for them to get some tables together. We ended up being in groups of four and spread all around the restaurant. Not fun. We started off dinner with complaining about how our friend probably never called and just said she did. Anyways, we left a little early, but it was okay. Prom was about to start so it was all good. When we got to prom there was already a bunch of people there and everyone was having so much fun. I walked in, threw my shoes off, and started dancing with my date and my friends. We had a blast and had forgotten about how angry we were with the girl who didn't make the reservations. Prom didn't really seem to last too long though, it was over before we knew it. The drive home was very tiring though. My date and I were so tired from dancing to just about every song we both crashed as soon as we got back. The next day we went to Eric Taylor's memorial. We may have ended the weekend on a tough note, but it's all good. I just pray that Eric Taylor finds peace.

The Monster Ate It!

On a nice May Day, Benny and Trey were outside playing with fireworks. They shot off Roman Candles and fire crackers, when a tree caught on fire. Their parents were out shopping and asked dear old grandma to watch them, but she was passed out on the couch from eating too much chocolate cake. Benny got an idea to get the water hose and put the fire out. Suddenly Trey stopped him and told him to let it go for a little while, the tree was dead and Trey thought it was awesome how it was on fire. Benny didn't like the idea of leaving it burn so when Trey wasn't looking he put it out. Trey was a little angry with Benny, but understood why he was scared of it getting out of control. Next thing you know little old Grandma comes running out of the house screaming about some little leprechaun trying steal her money. The boys just watched her run down the street and out of sight. They looked at each other and shook their heads. As it started to get darker, they got worried about grandma. Maybe she ran home, but they were worried about her so they headed off in the direction she ran. With flashlights hitting every tree the boys could not seem to find her. Then out of no where a big meteor comes crashing a mile ahead of them. Benny and Trey go to see it and find a big blue hairy monster attached to the meteor. Trey picked up a stick he found a few feet away and poked at the monster. Benny told Trey that was a bad idea, but Trey didn't listen. Then just as Benny suspected the big blue monster woke up. He turned towards them and walks forward, the boys back off nervously. They backed into a tree and couldn't move any further, but the monster kept creeping forward. Then out of no were Grandma came running out of the trees before them and slammed into the big blue monster. The monster fell and Grandma yelled, "Eat dirt!" So the monster ate it. Little old grandma then took the boys home and told them not to tell their parents about what happend.

A Little Adventure

Tom and Becky are really good friends and live just across the street from each other. Becky is a little taller then Tom and has brown hair, they are both 11 years old. Tom has red hair and is very adventurous. One day Tom and Becky were sitting in the grass thinking of something to do, when a big black bear came running towards them out of nowhere. They weren't scared at all, but curious so they followed the bear as it headed into the forest behind them. They were too slow though because the bear was gone, but that didn't stop looking. There were a few footsteps Becky noticed but Tom didn't see and when Becky yelled, "watch out!" Tom walked right into the bears poo pile. Tom had slid and almost landed in to poo on his back, good thing he has good balance and caught himself before he fell. Becky just giggled at Tom. He didn't seem to like that very much and told Becky to shut up, she said that wasn't very nice to say and they went back to walking. There was a river ahead and a bunch of footsteps around and it looked like there was a bunch of them on the other side too. Becky and Tom decided they were going to cross the river and continue searching for the bear. They had to walk on stones, Tom got across quickly and was trying to help Becky the best he could. She was really nervous and kept thinking she was going to fall in, but Tom assured her she would be fine and would only fall in if she kept thinking about it. When Becky finally made it across, they walked a little longer and found a small cave. They were a little afraid of what could be in it, but didn't want to show each other anymore fear. Tom had a lighter in his pocket, one he had stolen from his dad's jacket, and used it so they could see. They had only gone a couple yards into the cave when they saw a big black pile of something. It moved...they kept staring at it, soon they realized it was the big black bear they had followed into the woods. Tom and Becky ran back to their houses and decided to never tell anyone about it because someone might have the bear removed. They named it Stinker from the long walk it had brought them on and for Tom's shoe. Tom and Becky continue to visit the black bear and hid it from everyone.

What Made Them all Fall Down

There was a big deal football game going on one day. The Vikings and the Cowboys have been enemies since I can remember. They both made it to the Super Bowl and were in an intense match up, 20 to 20 the Cowboys and Vikings went into overtime. The crowd was getting crazy waiting for the next touchdown by the Vikings. The music before overtime started was getting them all riled up; when it ended they sat down and awaited a touchdown. The plays were getting know ware, but out of no were Farve throws the ball to Adrian Peterson, he catches it and runs. He runs like the wind towards the end zone, sweat flying off his face hitting a defensive guy in the face and knocking him down. There is know one on him so he starts running backwards and the crowd is going wild. He makes the touchdown and moons all the Cowboy fans. Then the Vikings fans all try and do the wave, but oh no one of the fans has fallen down the bleachers. Slowly more fans fall and it becomes a domino effect not only moving down the bleachers, but to the sides too. Some fall on the field others fall on each other, the nut guy gets smashed in between two fans and they fall onto the ground. The ambulance was called by one of the coaches on the field, and they arrive about an hour later. That's how they all fell down.
